I am delighted to share with you an interview I did for Nicola Humber's 'Unbound writer's club' last week, in which I talk about my first book 'take off your armour and have a cup of tea'. written throughout 2018 and published in October 2019, It turned out to be a deeply healing and transformative process. It was also the seed for my second book, which I mention in the interview, and will be published in the not too distant future.
Here is what we talk about
Connecting deeply with nature
Tools and practices I found along the way
Shifting your internal perceptions and attitudes
The cyclical nature of my creativity
Challenging the stories we're led to believe

I hope you enjoyed the interview and feel drawn to reading 'TAKE OFF YOUR ARMOUR', which is available on the link below
In 2020 during the Covid 19 restrictions, like many of us, I had more space and time to simply 'be'. But also, the 'doing' became more intentional and FOR ME, more enjoyable AND CREATIVE.
Most of my days were spent outside in nature, tending to the land i live on, dreaming into my creativity and desires.
my writing flowed with the moon phases and the changing of the seasons.
at various times i was stilled, by what i saw, as the beginning of our collective initiation into a new paradigm.
i felt intense waves of ancestral rage, remembering the rise of patriarchy and subsequent damning of the divine feminine; and at the same time feLT the rise of our feminine powers once again as i sensed the collapse of our systems and structures created by an unbalanced, heavy masculine energy world.
The poem 'FEMININE RISING' WEAVED HER MAGIC THROUGH ME ONE EVENING AT THE TIME OF THE DARK MOON. WHEN MY HUSBAND HEARD MY WORDS HE ASKED IF HE COULD PUT SOME MUSIC TO IT. WE SPENT SEVERAL DAYS WORKING TOGETHER TO CREATE THIS TRIBAL DANCE VERSION FOR YOU TO ENJOY.
